My name is Monti. I am a childrens author illustrator living near Bath in England.

I have always loved drawing, I find it both relaxing and freeing. I became serious (or obsessed, depending on who you ask) with drawing about eight years ago. I especially love character design; bringing a character to life that no one has seen or met before is just so exciting to me. This love for character design often drives my stories, many times a character is created before the story itself.

I love writing stories and making illustrations for childrens books, children have boundless imagination and this is reflected in their books. There are so many crazy ideas and characters that would never come to life if they weren’t in childrens books.
